The Acer netbook has Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition as its operating system
Powered by an Intel Atom N280 processor, Acer Aspire One D150-BK is a reliable laptop ideal for home as well office use. Perfect for executives who need to work while on the move, this laptop from Taiwanese manufacturer Acer seems to be the perfect solution. Its fast and efficient processor is capable of handling multiple programmes at once and ensures that all applications work smoothly. The laptop has a 160GB hard drive and a RAM capacity of 1,024MB. The hard drive offers ample space for all your documents, photos, files, music and media and the space is more than sufficient in case this would be your second laptop.
The Acer Netbook has Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition as its operating system, which offers a familiar and intuitive working environment for the user. A comfortable operating system, it will ensure you are able to complete your tasks in less time. The laptop has a WSVGA 10.1 inch display screen with a resolution of 1024×600, which offers sharp and vivid images. The screen offers true-to-life images that are a pleasure to watch. The laptop does not have an optical drive.
Microsoft Corp’s new operating system, Windows 7, will be out in October. The previews are positive so far, so anyone buying a computer Dell Vostro 1500 battery, now should be thinking about upgrading this fall. Yet the NC20 isn’t quite ready for Windows 7. Because the graphics chip eats up part of the NC20′s 1GB of memory, it would need a memory upgrade first, according to Microsoft’s Upgrade Advisor software.
With a unique multi-touch and gesture pad, the Mini 10 Netbook, from Dell(Dell 1691P battery), the world’s 2nd largest PC manufacturer, has a 720pixels display edge-to-edge display with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Equipped with an edge-to-edge keyboard, the Mini 10 comes loaded with everything a mobile companion should have and aims to cash in on the current popularity of Netbooks. It is easy to navigate and run your fingers on the multi-touch track pad.
Moreover, the track pad is spill resistant and this further protects your gadget and ensures that it lasts long. Its compact and petite size is its highlighting feature that allows is to be carried everywhere and anywhere. A very stylish and compact 10.1 inch display screen and a built-in TV tuner are some its best features. Other useful features include a built-in mobile broadband and a built-in GPS. It also has a built-in 802.11n. Its very special gesture touchpad includes exclusive gestures like Home Screen, Dell Inspiron 6400 battery,Auto-Scroll and My Favorites. Available in popular Design Studio images, the dell Mini 10 has a large colour palette and runs on Intel Atom Z530, which makes it efficient and increase its performance and battery life.
Then Asus, a heretofore unknown PC company, hit upon an idea. Why not take cheap processors, stuff them into some of the small motherboards they had been working on, add a laptop screen and keyboard, and make a mini-laptop? They could stuff in Intel’s cheap new Atom processors and make something that is essentially a peripheral laptop. In a strategy that can be attributed to Pimp My Ride, laptop makers knew that consumers loved laptops so they decided to add a laptop to their laptops. The larger, more expensive laptop would sit quietly in the den while the Netbook would scoot around the Internet, while you were on the couch watching TV or in the kitchen making pizza bagels.

Tips to keep your laptop cool in the summer
So, there are some good tips for keeping your laptop cool.
1. Keep the environment as cool as possible. Using a laptop computer in the hot summer, you’d better use your air-conditioning. If there is no air-conditioning, at least use fans. Otherwise, even if the laptop withstand, I am afraid you will not.
2. Put something under the laptop to allow airflow between the laptop and the desk. It may sound like a small trick, but a very important one. You can put part of a book under the laptop, or you can buy the laptop cooling pads which works extremely well considering how cheap they are.
3. When using the laptop in the bed or sofa, try not to block the air outlet of the laptop. There are so many cases that the laptop died simply because there is no way to get the hot air out. In summer time, you don’t want to live in a house with all windows closed, neither does your laptop.
Summer is always challenging for all the electronics. Use your common sense, and your cheap laptop will be as cool as you.

The cheapest Mini Laptop Computer from ePathChina
The latest mini notebook computer craze features the smallest laptops with customizable skins and even one with a floral print. Nearly weightless, compared to the dinosaur relics of, say, 2007, these new mini laptop PC computers fit into a purse or book bag and weigh less than 2 pounds.
The newest “thinnest,” the Sony Vaio X505 is razor thin and has a carbon fiber body, a 10.5 inch screen and weight just 1.7 pounds. It has a battery life of 1.5 hours and not enough memory to run major applications, but it’s cute. If that matters. Laptop reviewers have not had many good things to say about the functionality of this computer, but the size is a novelty and one simply must marvel at the technology involved in creating such a gem.
Cutest Mini Notebook Computer
The Acer Aspire stole a few hearts with its AOA150 in pink and sapphire blue, but the Asian-esque red floral printed Vivienne Tam HP mini, released in early 2009, has really added a dimension of feminine style and personalization that laptop computers have never seen before. Both of these mini laptops feature 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processors with 1GB of RAM, but the mini HP laptop falls short, with half the battery power and a much smaller hard drive.
Mini Laptop Computer
The MSI Wind comes pre-loaded with Windows XP. It features full sized keys on most of the keyboard, instead of making all the keys smaller, it simply condensed the keys on the periphery of the keyboard, leaving the letters and numbers full size. Users report that it takes some getting used to, but that it’s easier than other mini PC computers. The Wind also boasts more USB ports than other mini laptops. It also has a card reader and an ethernet port.
Small laptops now house an enormous amount of features and options, and aren’t just mini mobile computers. With the capability of using the same operating systems as a desktop computer, a mini laptop consumer can expect these small computers to be easy to use, whether as a primary PC or for travel. They’re light weight and most models have built in web camera. In online reviews, some users lament the lack of Bluetooth that makes file transfer easier, since these models don’t generally come with CD Rom Drives. USB technology enables users to use an external CD rom drive, mouse or full size keyboard. Going Internet hopping, 5 Place to go for Internet hopping
Internet hopping is a little bit different from Wifi internet hopping, for it was what I did before I got the laptop with Wifi built in it. In some ways you are kind of limited in the place you can go to, and in ways you are not, depending on how much you have invested in electronics, as you will see in this article. Internet hopping is go to place that have computer, and wire internet access, and if you have an card internet, go anywhere. Here are five location you might want to checkout when going internet hopping:
Libraries
Libraries are great place to go for internet, especially for free internet. Most libraries have computer access to internet, wire access internet, and Wifi internet access, like I expressed in my last article, Going Wifi Hopping… The only thing with libraries is yes the internet in free, but only for a limited time, 45 to and hour time limited, but if you have a internet wire, internet card, or a computer with Wifi built in it, you can be on it as long as you want.
Cafes
Most cafes are also great place to go for internet, especially free internet too, but not all cafes that have internet, sometimes you have to pay. The kind of internet access you get at a cafe is ether wire internet or Wifi internet and if you have the internet card than that to. Most cafes though don’t have computer access to internet, unless your living in a big city, like New York or Los Angeles, where there is cyber cafes, but if you are living in cities that big but not real big, than may not have cyber cafes.
Some Hotels
Some hotels do have computer access, and some even have wire access and Wifi. The downside though is they want you to stay there to use their internet, at less the computer access anyway, but sometime they can be line it, but not all the time. If you have a laptop with Wifi built in it, or a internet card, than you don’t have to really worry about checking in.
Fedex Kinko’s
Fedex Kinko’s has been around for a long time, but now it is Fedex Kinko’s, but anyway you can go to Kinko’s, I mine Fedex Kinko’s to ship stuff, print, and get on the computer for internet access and other thing you need to do on the computer. I wouldn’t go to Kinko’s just to be getting on the computer, for they charge by the minute and their Wifi access is high and their printing price is high too (the library is cheaper). If you want just hang out and just internet hopping I would go to libraries, cafes, and maybe hotel, and only go to Kinko’s to get on their Wifi or to print something. I know I didn’t m enchain them in my last hub Going Wifi Hopping…, but I guess I’m not a big fan of Kinko’s, but I thought I would m enchain them here since they been the place to go for computer access for years, because when libraries didn’t have computer access and Kinko’s was all you had for computer internet access in some city or cyber cafe.
Go anywhere
If you have a internet card and a laptop, you can go anywhere with internet. You can take your laptop or mini laptop to the park and get the internet, to restaurant and cafe that charge to use the internet, you can get on no problem, get on before the movie starts, get on while waiting in line for your medicen at Walmart. I mien the world is great now, I’m just massing with you all, but an internet is great to have along with your laptop, I mien it’s a great experience, I just would like to have my service back.
When Internet Hopping
When going internet hopping, you can bring your mini laptop, or regular laptop, and if you don’t have one, just bring yourself. If you have one bring your internet wire or card, or laptop with Wifi access. If you don’t have those things than just bring yourself, even though you will be limited to the places you can go to or hop to(not hopping literally), just bring yourself, it still be fun. Also if you don’t have laptop, mini laptop with Wifi access, or internet card you might want to invest in one, it will broaden your internet experience.
Will happy internet hopping, much happiness Tamila

Acer Aspire One – the Perfect Netbook
The Acer Aspire One to date is a shining example of the ‘perfect’ ultra-portable laptop. One of its strongest selling points is it competitive pricing. Costing about $350 a piece, the Acer Aspire one is one of the most affordable Netbooks in the market. Weighing at just 2.2 pounds, the average unit comes with a 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1 GB of Ram, a 1.4 Megapixel camera and 160 GB of memory. As far as affordable ultra-portable goes, this is as good as it gets!
The Acer Aspire One comes in 4 different colors and has a sleek and stylish design. It is very solidly built and also has a tinge of chrome styling. The LCD screen is crystal clear with great contrasts.
The size keyboards on Netbooks have always been a great concern among laptop users. Almost none of the Netbooks in the market today has a full sized keyboard, but the Acer Aspire One come pretty close to having one. Its keyboard site is 92% the size of normal keyboards, which is a pleasure to type on.

Faster Check-in For Travel with “Checkpoint Friendly” Laptop Bags
TSA (the Travel Security Administration) has some relatively simple guidelines. Your laptop needs to lay flat on the X-ray belt. No zippers or metal objects can be underneath or on top of the laptop section, and there can be no pockets in the laptop section. There can be nothing else in the laptop section other than the laptop. The whole idea is that the TSA rep needs to be able to easily see your laptop as it goes through the X-ray.
If you really want to keep it simple for yourself, just choose a laptop sleeve or bag that is already identified as checkpoint friendly. Mobile Edge has created its “Scan Fast” series of laptop bags, that includes a checkpoint friendly laptop backpack and several briefcases that fold open and allow you to keep the laptop inside. Brenthaven’s stylis x-ray friendly laptop case opens up like a butterfly, allowing for a quick move through security. This bag comes in sizes for both a 15.4” and a 17” laptop, so most any sized laptop will work with either of the two.
Maybe you have a bag that you already love to take on trips. If that is a case, a choice of a checkpoint friendly laptop sleeve makes sense. Same guidelines apply to sleeves as to laptop bags, so no zippers or objects can cover the laptop in the x-ray. Casauri has taken their popular sun stripe and deco blocks patterns and made laptop sleeves that will make security a breeze and yet allow you to have a colorful choice for laptops ranging from 8.9” through 15.4”. For a little more sedate look, Greensmart’s laptop sleeve in storm blue or black is good for males or females, and has the added benefit of being eco-friendly by being made of recycled plastic bottles.
